Passage: Ephesians 4:25-5:2 Speaker: Pastor Lukus Counterman Series: Identity in Christ

Length: 53 mins 20 secs Plays: 560

Speaker: Lukus Counterman - The Christian is not supposed to walk like the world but instead be a Christ-learner. That’s what Paul emphasizes in the middle of Ephesians 4. But he goes on to explain what it looks like to put off the old and put on the new with spiritual renewal. It’s not an exhaustive list, but Paul gives some concrete examples of how new life in Christ involves replacing sinful habits with righteous and holy habits – all of which are motivated by love. Believers are to rid themselves of vices and cultivate virtues because they are walking in love as Christ loved them and gave himself up for them. May the Lord help us live out who we are in Christ with a fragrance of love towards others.
