Speaker: Jon Kopp - For a tree, there is no growth without certain vital elements such as soil, sunlight, and water. For a Christian, there can be no spiritual growth apart from the person of Jesus Christ. The death and resurrection of Christ makes our spiritual growth possible. His Spirit gives us the power needed to live righteously. The knowledge of Christ matures us toward our predestined goal, Christ-likeness. Our spiritual growth is intimately connected to Christ. Without Him, growth is not be possible. Apart from Him, growth will not happen. For this reason, we must place Christ at the center of our growth.
