Speaker: Lukus Counterman - Have you ever thought about our society and wondered why some things are punished while other things are protected (or vis versa)? In our text this week we get to know God’s heart concerning protection and punishment. We begin to understand what God wants protected and what he wants punished. Deuteronomy 19 helps us understand that even if cultures, governments, or local authorities fail to protect good and punish evil, God won’t. In the end he will be an avenger of evil and a refuge for those in need. May the Lord guide and comfort our hearts as we study his word together.
