Speaker: Ben Henderson - The Reformation brought people back to the Scriptures and was unified around the Five Solas despite some disagreements. Things in Europe shifted after authority was divested from the Church in favor of the growing power of the nation-state. The English Reformation was emblematic of this national growth. God used a very flawed man in Henry VIII to bring renewal to His church in England. The Puritans and their community-building efforts on both sides of the Atlantic show how the Church grew in the Post-Reformation age. God is faithful through history to ensure His Word is kept as the cornerstone of belief.
