Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In the world around us, there is a constant white noise of human wisdom. The popular trends, current values, and successful methods of culture find their voice in almost every venue. But the church is supposed to be an exception. The world’s wisdom has no place in the household of faith. Instead, God’s wisdom needs to guide and guard his people. In 1 Corinthians 3, Paul explains how the church is being formed by God like a farmer’s field, a building, or a holy temple. And yet, while God is constructing, there are those who are destructing. What God is forming others are deforming. And so, believers are called to remember all that we have in our union with Christ and remember that we ultimately belong to him.
