Quite frankly, it’s not for the faint of heart. Spiritual warfare is real and dangerous, and there are casualties along the way. So, if we are going to make it, we need to realize that though our task is great, our God is greater! In the closing words of 1 Timothy, Paul reminds his protégé of what he needs to do, but he also reminds him that he’s not alone. May the Lord help us press on with his power in his presence.
