"Paul was a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus and his goal was to deliver gospel truth, the kind that brings life and changes life." (Tim Chester) He believed that truth could transform people, sound doctrine could produce solid Christians. In other words, the gospel wouldn’t just bring people to God, it would lead them to changed lives––practical godliness. As we encounter God’s truth, may he increase our knowledge and transform our lives to look more like Christ.
