Speaker: David Kush - Our culture is pushing the idea of fatFIRE (financial independence retire early on us) and also the idea of Quite Quitting where you fade into the background of your job and just do the bare minimum to keep from being fired. Both of these can become sins of idolatry if we are trying to somehow get out of the work that God called us to do while at the same time thinking that our identity, satisfaction and joy is going to come from not working. While work is not redeemed, we as God's chosen people are redeemed, and this means that we don't have to worship work idols any longer!
