Speaker: Lukus Counterman - Palm Sunday is a time in Christian calendar when we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem the week leading up to his crucifixion. Beyond the palm branches and shouts of “Hosanna,” one of the distinctive features of this time in Christ’s ministry was the way he proclaimed the gospel. Jesus foretold his death on the cross for sinners (John 12:23-24, 32-33), and his victorious resurrection three days later (Luke 20:27-38). This good news that was shared by our Lord has been the centerpiece of Christianity for almost two millennia. So, when we gather tomorrow, we are going to focus our attention on the gospel. May the Lord help us be gospel-centered believers this Palm Sunday!
