Speaker: Jotham Manoranjan - Have you ever heard someone say, “When all else fails, read the instructions”? Only reading instructions after things have gone wrong is probably a poor way to do simple things, like assembling a propane grill. But only readings life's instructions after things have gone wrong is definitely a disastrous way to live life. This week, we are going to dwell on connected themes seen throughout the entire book of Proverbs - the themes of instruction, teaching, correction, discipline and reproof in the life of a believer. As we look specifically at Proverbs 4, we will seek to understand the wise way to live life that is explicitly, and implicitly, taught throughout Biblical wisdom literature.
