As time progresses, we will continue to track the state of this virus and respond with the welfare and safety of the church in mind. Please pray with us as we seek God through prayer, his Word, and his use of the government officials and other churches, asking for wisdom from above for our context.
Historically, we as a church have sought biblical community through community groups and a Wednesday kids discipleship program, but currently our context does not allow us to continue as we have. Instead, we have begun home groups to help our need for prayer and care for one another. If you are interested in joining a home group please contact us.
Finally, although we should demonstrate caution in our response to the Coronavirus, we should also think of ways that we can pursue new opportunities to reach neighbors, friends, and family with the gospel. People are afraid, and the effects of this pandemic are going to impact many. We need to ask God to give us confidence in Him and courage to share the gospel with others. Psalm 34:4-5 says, "I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” As we trust in the living God through this trial, he will make us radiant in the city. May he help us display the gospel of grace during this time.
