Speaker: Jon Kopp - In Hebrews 10:19-25, the writer shares an incredible truth for those that embrace the work of Jesus on the cross. In our passage and throughout the last few chapters of the book, the writer has been making the case that at the cross, Jesus does something incredible for His people. He overcomes the obstacles that keep man from God. Jesus perfectly performed the laws demands necessary to open up access to God’s presence for all who trust Him. In today’s text, we will see that Jesus has opened a way for God’s people to have direct access to enter His presence with confidence, and as a Christian community we must live like that is true. So, the big thought this morning is: Because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, Christians approach God in boldness and humility as a community. In this message, we examine that truth, then look at three applications for people that embrace it in faith together.
