Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 1:20, “For all the promises of God find their Yes in him.” We can rejoice that the promises of God are trustworthy and backed by His sovereignty. The King of the Universe works all things according to His plan. He is not threatened or thwarted by the schemes of man. When we consider the Good News of Christ coming to this earth to save sinners, we should worship. We ought to join with the angels and say, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased.”
