Speaker: Jon Kopp - 2 Peter 1:3-5 Virtue is excellence in character and conduct. This inner character and outer conduct relates to the fruit of the Spirit in all goodness, righteousness, and truth (Eph. 5:9). Virtue is revealed in who we are and what we do and is observable by others. God wants to save us not only from wrath and judgment but to righteousness! It is also His desire that we excel in holy character and conduct, not just “get by”. When we stand before Him, it is this excellence that will be more important than any other. For these reasons, we should give all diligence to supplement our faith with virtue!
